Insurance Claims Help

We work for you, not your insurance company.

You did not choose to have a disaster, and you should not have to fight your own claim during the worst week of your year. We document the full loss to IICRC standards, bill your carrier directly, and stand behind every line item, so your claim reflects the real damage. Serving the San Fernando Valley and Ventura County.

How it works

How we handle your claim.

  1. 01

    Document the loss to standard

From the first walkthrough we record the damage, the category and the moisture, to the IICRC standard your adjuster works in.

  2. 02

    Build the scope

We turn that documentation into a clear, line by line scope of the work the loss actually requires.

  3. 03

    Bill your carrier directly

We bill your insurance company directly for the covered work, so you are not floating the cost or chasing paperwork.

  4. 04

Defend it if it is questioned

If a line is cut or questioned, we have the readings, the photos and the standard to back it up.

What we document

What goes into your file.

IICRC standard documentation

Every loss is documented to the relevant IICRC standard, S500 for water, S520 for mold, S700 for fire and smoke.

Moisture and psychrometric logs

Daily readings by location and date that show the drying, so the equipment and the time on site are justified.

Photographic evidence

Before, during and after photos that show the condition, the contamination and the work performed.

Category and class

The loss is classified to the standard, which is what justifies the containment, removal and scope.

Line item scope

A clear scope tied to the documented damage, in the format carriers expect.

Daily progress records

A running record of the work, so there are no gaps an adjuster can question.

Why it works

Why our documentation wins.

We speak adjuster

Their standard, their language

We document in the IICRC standards and the line item format adjusters work in, so the claim is easy to approve and hard to dispute.

Defensible, not inflated

Every line tied to evidence

We do not pad a scope. Each item is tied to a reading or a photo, which is exactly why it holds up.

You are not alone in it

We handle the back and forth

You focus on your family. We handle the documentation and the communication with the adjuster.

A reminder on what we are and are not: we are a restoration contractor that documents and bills your claim. We are not a public adjuster or an attorney. For a coverage dispute, those professionals rely on exactly the kind of documentation we provide.

Questions

Your claim, answered.

Do I have to use my insurance company's preferred vendor?

No. In California you have the right to choose who restores your home. An insurer can recommend a vendor, but the choice is yours, and you can choose iDri.

Can you bill my insurance directly?

Yes. We bill your carrier directly for the covered work, so you are not paying out of pocket and waiting to be reimbursed for the full amount.

Do I pay anything out of pocket?

Typically you are responsible for your policy deductible, and we bill the carrier for the covered work. The exact split depends on your policy, and we will walk you through it before we start.

What if my claim is underpaid or denied?

Our job is to document the loss thoroughly so the claim is well supported, and we provide that evidence to you and your adjuster. We are a restoration contractor, not a public adjuster or an attorney, so for a coverage dispute you may also want to consult one. Strong documentation is what those professionals rely on, and it is what we provide.

Will you work with my specific insurance company?

Yes. We work with all insurance carriers and bill them directly. We do not work for the insurer, though. We work for you.

Carriers

Carriers we work with.

We work with every insurance company and bill them directly. For these carriers we also have a guide to filing your claim. We are independent and not affiliated with any of them.
