Reconstruction

The same crew that dries your home rebuilds it.

Most restoration companies dry and clean, then hand you to a separate contractor for the rebuild. We are a licensed general contractor, so one team takes you from the first board up to the last coat of paint, with the rebuild documented in the same insurance claim. Serving the San Fernando Valley and Ventura County.

The difference

Why one team beats a handoff.

The biggest hidden cost in restoration is the gap between the company that tears out the damage and the company that rebuilds. We close that gap by being both.

The handoff gap

Two companies, one mess

When one company dries your home and another rebuilds it, you get scheduling gaps, two scopes that do not match, and finger pointing when something is missed.

One scope, one claim

Nothing falls through

Because we do both, the rebuild is scoped to match exactly what was removed and documented in the same claim, so there is no gap between demolition and repair.

One point of contact

Start to finish

One team, one project manager and one number to call, from the emergency through the final walkthrough.

When it is needed

When reconstruction comes in.

How it works

From bare studs to move back in.

  1. 01

    Assess and scope the rebuild

We document what was removed and scope the repairs needed to bring the home back to pre loss condition.

  2. 02

Match to the loss and the claim

The rebuild scope ties to the documented damage, so it fits the same claim with no gap.

  3. 03

    Rebuild to pre loss condition

Our crew handles framing through finishes, matching your existing materials or upgrading where you choose.

  4. 04

    Final walkthrough

We walk the finished home with you, and it is not done until you are satisfied.

Insurance

One scope, no gap, documented to the claim.

When mitigation and reconstruction are two different companies, the seam between them is where claims leak, work gets missed, and you end up refereeing. Because we do both, the rebuild is scoped directly to what was documented and removed, billed in the same claim, with one team accountable from the emergency to the final coat of paint.

How we handle your claim

Questions

Reconstruction, answered.

Do you do the rebuild, or just the cleanup?

Both. We are a licensed general contractor, so the same team that handles the emergency, the drying and the cleanup also rebuilds your home. You are not handed off to a separate contractor.

Are you licensed contractors?

Yes. iDri is a licensed general contractor in California, which is what lets us take a job from emergency mitigation all the way through full reconstruction under one roof.

Will insurance pay for the reconstruction?

When the damage is from a covered loss, the repairs to bring your home back to pre loss condition are part of the claim. We scope the rebuild to match the documented damage and bill your carrier directly.

How long does reconstruction take?

It depends on the size of the loss, from a few days for a single room to several weeks for a major rebuild. We give you a timeline after scoping and keep you updated as the work moves.

Can you match my existing finishes?

Yes. We work to match your existing flooring, paint, trim and cabinetry so the repair blends in, or we can upgrade finishes if you would rather make a change while the work is open.
